SUMMARY:Rare Plants and Orchid Festival
DESCRIPTION:Plant collectors and orchid enthusiasts will find plenty to discover at this annual celebration of rare and exotic flora. The Rare Plants and Orchid Festival returns May 1-3 to the Fuchs Pavilion at the Miami-Dade County Fair & Expo Center\, located next to FIU. Set in a comfortable\, air-conditioned indoor venue\, the festival features over 60 specialized vendors from around the world offering unique and hard-to-find specimens. \nOver three days\, attendees can explore a diverse selection of tropical plants—ranging from orchids and aroids to other coveted varieties rarely seen in traditional retail settings. Renowned growers such as Motes Orchids\, Equator Plants\, Bela Vista Orchids and Krull Smith will be onsite\, along with allied vendors offering supplies\, planters\, garden accessories and botanical art. \nThis family-friendly event also includes complimentary raffles throughout the weekend\, with chances to win rare plants and other prizes. E-ticket holders are automatically entered into the main and bonus raffles\, while those purchasing tickets at the door can enter onsite. No purchase is necessary to participate\, and children under 12 are admitted free. \nWhether you’re a seasoned collector or just starting out\, the Rare Plants and Orchid Festival offers a welcoming space to shop\, learn and connect with fellow plant lovers.
