Meetings

Rare Fruit Council International (RFCI), Miami meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden (FTBG), in Coral Gables, Miami-Dade County.

Meetings consist of a FRUITLUCK tasting table, a seed and plant exchange, and an educational program with guest speakers and slide presentations devoted to tropical pomology.

Members have the opportunity to share and taste their favorite fruits and desserts of fruits in season at our monthly RFCI Members’ FRUITLUCK tasting table, prior to the evening’s program at 8:00 pm. JOIN US / MEMBER FORM. Members are encouraged to help the Council fulfill their nutritional requirements by bringing dishes to share. Plants, seedlings, & seeds are also welcomed for our Plant & Seed Exchange conducted at our monthly meetings.  

RFCI meetings convene at FTBG’s Burns Science Building in the DiMare Science Village Classroom, beside Wings of the Tropics butterfly conservatory & the Bill & Angela Whitman Fruit Pavilion. Use old south entrance by the Sunken Garden.
