Our New Website Is Live! Explore the Tropical Fruit Community Online

We’re excited to announce that the new Rare Fruit Council International website is officially live — and it’s more than just a fresh look.

This redesigned site makes it easier than ever for tropical fruit enthusiasts — beginners, backyard growers, researchers, and longtime members alike — to connect, learn, and grow together, both online and in person.

If you’ve visited us before, you’ll notice a cleaner layout, improved navigation, and a smoother experience across desktop and mobile. More importantly, you’ll find new tools designed especially for our members.

What’s New on the Website?

A Modern, User-Friendly Design
Our updated layout puts the focus on what matters most: clear information, intuitive navigation, and easy access to resources — whether you’re browsing at home or out in the garden.

A Member Recipe Library (and Recipe Submissions!)
Looking for ways to use your homegrown fruit?
Our Recipes section features contributions from RFCI members, including tropical favorites like mango preserves, lychee desserts, citrus dishes, and more.

Members can now submit their own recipes, helping build a growing, shared archive of tropical fruit knowledge.

Improved Events & Meeting Information
Finding RFCI events is now easier than ever.
The Events page includes monthly meetings, workshops, classes, and plant sales — complete with maps, locations, and organizer details to help you plan ahead.

A Growing Tropical Fruit Gallery
Our new Fruit Gallery showcases rare and exotic fruits grown locally and around the world. Members can browse photos, learn about unfamiliar species, and even contribute images to help expand the collection.

A New Member Portal
One of the biggest updates is our member portal, created to give RFCI members easy access to exclusive resources.

Through the portal, members can:

  • Access member-only content
  • Browse recipes and presentations
  • Submit photos, recipes, and other contributions
  • Stay connected with the RFCI community online

Streamlined Membership
Joining or renewing your membership is now faster and easier through our redesigned Join the Council page.

Membership supports RFCI’s mission and gives you access to:

  • Educational resources
  • Member-only content
  • Community contributions
  • Events, presentations, and archives

Optimized for Mobile
The entire site is fully mobile-friendly — perfect for browsing from your backyard, nursery, or while attending an event.
